Alumni Information

Golden Grads

The Beaverton High School Golden Grads is a dedicated group of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago. The origin of this organization dates back to 1950, when the Class of 1930 held its 20th reunion.  Over the years, other BHS classes asked if they could join the reunions. In 1980, when the Class of 1930 celebrated its “golden” 50th reunion, Ruth Lundgren Pasley (BHS ’30) suggested calling this group the “Golden Grads.” Every June the Golden Grads get together for a luncheon in the Beaverton HS cafeteria, where they welcome in the newest class of 50-year alumni.

If you would like to learn more about the BHS “Golden Grads,” if you are a BHS alumnus/alumna who is a member of a class that graduated 50 years ago or more and would like to join their mailing list, or if you would like to know about the next luncheon, please visit the Golden Grads web site.

Alumni Golf Tournament - "Swing Fore the Future"

The third annual "Swing Fore the Future – Ralph Holland, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament" was held on June 22, 2018 at The Reserve Vineyard and Golf Club. The event raised over $45,000 (!!!) and drew in nearly 100 golfers and 130 dinner attendees.  The proceeds raised during the tournament will benefit the Arts/Choir/Band departments.

This annual event is open to any alumni, teacher (current or past, and parents of students) - and if you don’t golf, you're welcome to join us for the dinner auction!
